I've been remiss...

on posting the last few days. Family is coming into town and I've been dealing with the "deck follies"... my attempt to resurface our outside deck. In short, it has not gone well.

We stopped by Christi's place of employment yesterday to show off babies. Colie slept through it which was a good thing. Sophie put on a good show, lots of smiles and interaction.

Looking forward to having family and family friends in this weekend, which, by the way, is my last weekend before I go back to work. I think it's going to be a difficult transition. I'm so used to seeing the kids 24/7. On Monday, I will be leaving before Soph is up, and will be home about an hour and a half before she goes to bed. On the other hand, I have missed my work, and especially my colleagues.

Colie is starting to do social smiles, which is kind of cute.
